Go into your profile and click on the tab marked "Avatar." The NitinSawhney.com Discussion Boards do not come with preloaded avatars. You will need to use an image that is saved to your computer. To add this image, click on the "Browse" button and locate the image you want to use as your avatar. Then click on "Update" and "Save Changes." It will take a few minutes for your avatar to appear. Be sure to check off "Yes" beside "Enable Avatar." If you don't do this, people won't be able to see your avatar.
If you want to use an animated avatar, it needs to be hosted on another site (like Photobucket). Once that's done, copy and paste the URL address into the field called "Avatar URL." Save your changes and your avatar should appear in 10-20 minutes (animated avatars tend to take longer to appear).
