    lost and found: gig ticket

    Yay, I made it through.

  •  Oh stars too ! Exciting stuff. Get this.. I was back in Wales last weekend and I found an old Nitin Sawhney concert ticket. I'm sure someone can beat the date though - 2001, but how cool is that? I'm actually not sure if it was the 'first' live encounter but it's hazy to remember... memorias perdidas
  • Here's an image. Any guesses which song it reminds me of...?!

Finally got on too ..... My gig ticket is not that old as it is from the Philtre tour in 2005 - but is safely stored away from the prying eyes of my son, as it has Nitin's autograph on.

Hope you had a good weekend in Wales, Rhian.

Nos da (= good night in Welsh)

Thanks for the 'nos da!' I find it soothing if it creates a little 'hiraeth'... (kind of like longing or 'saudades' in Portuguese)  'Diolch' (thanks) for the translation but, as you may be starting to guess, I'm fluent

Actually the translation was for the benefit of others - in case anyone objected to not understanding it.  I'd half guessed you were fluent, Rhian.  I am afraid I speak very little Welsh - I meet many people speaking other languages - 100 said to be spoken here at last count.
