    God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman!

I see that 'somebody' has left us a little message in the news section...

     http://www.nitinsawhney.com/news/default.aspx#f98d1d8c-2159-49ec-bb38-0850c97828b2:1496

I also noticed something that has me a little worried... according to "Where is Nitin?" (the section dedicated to wannabe stalkers) the man is STILL in his studio.... I rarely check out the home page but it seems to me that he's not left his studio since the website got it's big makeover...

Now I could ask, if this were true, who the hell was it impersonating him at the Albert Hall etc, etc, but I fear that this may take us down that old route of virtual or cloned Nitins and heaven knows, we don't want to trample over that well-worn path yet again. No, the reason for my concern has nothing to do with impersonators or imposters nor even with the practicalities ( or rather, impracticalities) of spending so long confined to his studio.... I'm just wondering, what with it being the festive season and all that, shouldn't someone let the fella out for bit of a breather? He has worked rather hard this year and, I reckon, deserves a little break.....  just a thought!

Incidently, Rosemary, does my avatar look familiar? You clever girl!

Well I did notice that you changed the title of the carol to "gentleman" so I guess you are referring to Nitin.  Normally when singing that carol I change it to "gentlefolk" - it still fits!

I'm very flattered that you used my stitched card as an avatar!

Hmmm... well, perhaps I should've written "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlefolkie" since the man leaves no musical genre unturned.

Usually by now, my tolerance of christmas carols has worn paper thin. This year however, I was unable to resist downloading an mp3 from a musician's mailout and using it as my current ringtone. It's "We wish You A Merry Christmas"..... played on a sitar. I'll have to forward that one to you Rosemary!

Anyway, here's wishing much Love and plenty of Joy to anyone reading this.....

*****Merry Christmas! Shubh Naya Baras! Nave sal di mubaraka!*****

Catch y'all in the New Year!

    Buga X
