Hey guys, hope you appreciate this 'cos I registered to post it - it's a list of the chords used in 'Tides' (one of my top 5 tracks of all time).

The piece is basically split up into 3 sections - if you listen to the chords you'll know which section belongs where:

1. Ebm9 / Bbm9 / Gbadd9 / Dbmaj7
2. Dsus4 / Bsus4
3. Gbmaj7 / Dm7 / Bbm7 / Dm7


Originally I wanted to play this on the guitar and an easier key to play it in was 1 semitone higher - here are those chords as well for your benefit. (If someone tells me how to show box chords or tablature in a post then I could offer my preferred guitar fingering as well!):

1. Em9 / Bm9 / Gadd9 / Dmaj7
2. Ebsus4 / Csus4
3. Gmaj7 / Ebm7 / Bm7 / Ebm7



P.S. These chords are by no means correct - they're merely my interpretation from listening to the piece and trying to play along. Please feel free to post any corrections. Also, I hope there isn't anything wrong about doing this - the fact that there's a section on these forums devoted to lyrics and sheet music kinda reassures me I'm OK!

Thanks a lot, this might inspire me to play the piano - I never thought I'd have a favourite song until I heard Tides, it's awesome isn't it? I play drums, can anybody know / direct me to the cymbal work on the track?

At long last, the proper tablature is here - this took me flippin' ages by the way!

I've included the intro and the 3 different sections as close to how they're played the first time round as I could get, so basically it's good up to about 1 minute into the track, and from there the tune gets more fancy but is still based around the same chords.
