......Your vision was round the bend....????

No the road was round the bend ..... ring roads have a lot of bends.

Thanks for the spelling Rhian, I can practise saying it now!

    Hi Rosemary anf Buga,

Happy to see you're not offended, Rosemary, that I interrupted your chat with Buga without reference to either of you I can be spontaneous, to the point of being impulsive sometimes

It really annoys me when people spell 'unusual' names badly. A flash and I realised I did just that and then...... etc, etc. APOLOGIES

Hey! Stop beating yourself up sweetie! Spelling mistakes happen to us all you know, even...... yes, even to..... him! (Still spelling attached with 3 t's Mr. Sawhney? )

And don't worry about your spontaneity (yes, I checked the spelling of that word because, let's face it, it's just the kind of word you could easily muck up, isn't it!!!)..... it's not like we were sticking to the topic anyway..... what WAS the topic again???

Anyway, you may have noticed my Maori greeting....I'm fairly confident that I spelt it correctly but then almost every person I've encountered from NZ has been wonderfully laidback and non-judgemental... maybe one or two were 'just mental'..... I'm sure they wouldn't be offended if I got Kia Ora wrong ..... it's not like they could register, and post a response anyway!!!!

    Hi there,

Rhian - don't worry about interrupting us .... if there were more people around (hint, hint) we might be interruped more often. After all if I wanted a private conversation with Buga, we could stick to pm's, email or texting.

Buga, I think you have spelt Kia Ora correctly - there are some Kiwis on that other board I am on, and that's how they spell it.

The topic...... aah, that! I've just listened to "Home" again. My eyesight is going - I need glasses to read the sleeve notes on the CD.Track was written by Will Young, Karen Poole and Nitin. Programming, drums, piano were done by Nitin, who also arranged the strings. You can tell he's playing the piano, it has that really fluid and confident feel to it, I can almost see his fingers gliding over the keys ...... or is that my desk top?....

    thanx BD, greetings R

I found an interesting sight on Draupadi in case you're curious..

For anyone else who (somehow!) managed to read this far. Nitin is composing or has composed the music for a dance theatre rendition of the Mahabharata. Apparently, the story is presented as seen through the eyes of Draupadi.
