    Ojos De Brujo

'Ojos de Brujo' I Have just come across this song from you album "In the mind of Nitin Sawhney". Myself, I performed flamenco professionally for 17 yrs of my life. Have danced with amazing guitarists, singers many different compositions of music many of my own translations danced when i listen to each piece... However i have never lived so vicariously in such a short time when i heard this song. A time where i have been, have spent, have seen, have loved, have caressed, have lost. Just as notes continue to nourish such a conscious mind like yours, i will continue to play your enigma.

    Hi Imcaroca,

Have you visited their website - I can't get the insert link feature to work today, but you will find it via google.  Their current album Techari, is available, at least in the UK, with a dvd as an extra for a small amount of money more.  It also features the art work, and some gig listings.  If you get the chance to see them live, you will find they are incredibly exciting.

Mind you, Nitin is an amazing flamenco guitarist too.

Do you have a website of your own, Imcaroca?

Without any doubt is Ojos De Brujo one of the hottest and most exciting Spanish flamenco band at the moment. After a handfull of great gigs in Tilburg and Amsterdam i'm look forward to see them next month again when they return back to Amsterdam to promote thier upcoming album.

I saw Ojos De Brujo in December 2006 and to say they are exciting is, if anything, an understatement.  They don't just do flamenco though, they also do Catalan rumba.  Oh, another band with a new album ..... (struggling for space ....)
