    Re: Next album?

Beverly, saves me scrabbling around the internet for once Big Smile

I struck me that the album seems to be structured more like his soundtrack albums.  Well we shall see what type of tracks they are in due course.  Although I remember before Philtre being released, there were some previews in the weeks running up to the album release.

Buga, if there are any casts of Nitin, don't expect me to put my arm around its waist .  We attracted enough attention when you photographed me with one of Anthony Gormley's casts! Embarrassed

    Hi Rosemary,

Thanks for your post. Just to let you know that the album is structured and themed in a similar way to how "Beyond Skin" was and that Antony was generous enough to contribute some incredible drawings to the album.

     Hope you're well.

     Best

     Nitin

Quote: "We attracted enough attention when you photographed me with one of Anthony Gormley's casts!" Unquote!

Ah, yes Rosemary, but that was because of where you were putting your other arm...that's not how people usually admire a work of art, my dear!

Buga, I fear that it may be time for you to visit the optician.  I can clearly be seen holding my camera phone in my left hand! Do you recall what you were doing with your bag? Big Smile

    Picture This

That's an amazing bit of touching up Rosemary ...excuse the pun.... how did you reposition that arm and make it look so convincing?

     So, anyway, back to topic.....

Now that the release date for the new album has been announced, we can move onto the next question.....

When's the tour, Mr. Sawhney? Yep, no resting on your laurels for you, young man!!!

    Re: Picture This

Now Buga, you must realise that photo editing is about 25th on my list of 30+ things to learn when I get around to it.

I reckon we will hear in a few weeks....building up the anticipation ...... though I must admit my diary is filling up for September and maybe beyond and I am getting a bit worried about whether I will be free or able to get off work.  Of course if Nitin came to Cardiff and so I wouldn't have to travel to see him - in which case it probably wouldn't matter when the tour is.

    Life imitating Art?

I got an text today, telling me to check out The Independent....so I did...online....

Great article isn't it? Now, do you think that they used trick photography or did they really manage to capture a rare moment where our hero is standing still?

    Re: Life imitating Art?

Still, he doesn't have his arm round any of the sculptures :)

Looks like he is wearing his lucky T shirt, half hidden under that cardigan.  I wonder does he ever change it?  Or does he have several which he wears for public appearances and photo shoots?

It is a great article - very long.

    Re: Life imitating Art?

Yes a cardigan, albeit one with a hood. Buga, haven't you noticed that it's been colder recently? Coming from a profession that is alleged to habitually wear cardigans, I can assure you they stop you turning into an icicle when you are in an unheated interview room all day -though I wore my hoodie as well this week.  On the other hand, cardigans are totally superfluous if you are in a classroom with about a dozen teenage boys and a load of computers - all generating heat.

    Re: Life imitating Art?

I know what a cardigan is, Rosemary, I just can't imagine the maestro ever owning one!  No.  That there's a zip-fronted knitted hoodie.......  Cardigan indeed!!!  Lol
