any chance outcaste will re-release the old ep's, albums that nitin did? would be great to have them.

was really excited when i heard nitin was going to release a new album this year but my face dropped when i realised it was a mix album. i was really pumped for another amazing odesy but this mix album screams of money making from v2. it would have been cool if the mixes were a bonus disk on a new album like the fun lovin crims did for their best of.

Couldn't agree more. I think that is the best idea i've heard in ages.

hi, this is my first post in the new forum.
my english has not changed better since my last postings and so i hope you can excuse

at first i have to say, the releases "displacing the priest", "migration" and "beyond skin" are the best... the spirit of this music has changed all my views about the world.

i love this music, because i think, nitin does understand the feelings of many people and my feelings too.

but the new albums i don't like so because the spirit is not the same. ok, at "prophesy" the spirit is still there, but not even so strong like at the previous releases. and "human" was a pure disappointment for me.
it listens too much like pop-music.
i dont like pop-music, because it's music without a spirit and does only exists to make money. so it's incomprehensible for me, how such a great man, with such a great potencial permits that a remix-album can be released.

perhaps it's possible that money ruins the character?
or it's simply not the right label...

in my opinion, "migration" is the best Nitin's album and "Prophesy" too - "Migration" is more "jazzy", but "Prophesy" included a lot of trip-hop sounds... I love both styles

so I don't think that Nitin's "old" albums are more "soulful". There are just different styles - that's all

First of all thanks for all your posts.

Regarding my albums..... I always make albums I believe in. I never have and never will make an album for money. "Human" was a very personal and cathartic album for me and I'm very proud of how it came out.

The fact that most of the album was song based rather than the instrumental work of my early albums was to reflect the autobiographical nature of its content. Maybe that's why some may feel it's more of a "pop" record but to be honest, I think it was my biggest musical challenge to date and my most personal statement.

It's important for me to feel that I'm developing my work over time and that's why I got more into song writing for "Human". It's also why I've got into orchestral scoring for concerts and films and why I love dj-ing so much. I always want to try new things. That's how you stay focussed and passionate about real music. That's why I'm so excited in working on the next album. I always want to sound fresh, not repetetive.

I don't put out an album unless I'd buy it myself. That's how you know it's ready.

Thanks for the reply to that nitin and i see now why you do experiment with other types of music and artists, but mate honestly now, i haven't heard a track that you've done i can complain about so just keep it coming.

migration is my favorite album too, best track Punjabi.  I love all nitins stuff and have seen him play 4 times, he is amazing live. I agree with you about the different styles. Hx
