I guess this might be a question for either Beverly or Sumit.
The news section of this site carries publicity for Bahok which "is a collaboration by Khan and the National Ballet of China. The score is provided by Nitin, and is his and Khan's fourth project together. Meaning "carriers" in Bengali, Bahok "explores the ways in which the body carries national identity and a sense of belonging." It mentions the earlier performance in New York and the one in Sadlers Wells on 11-14 June.
A search of the internet suggests that it has already been performed at Liverpool Playhouse and will be performed Brighton Dome, May 9-10. I have had a mailing list from Birmingham telling me it is to be performed at Birmingham Repertory Theatre on 13/14 May - alas too late for me too travel up, as I have already booked in to do some work with Music and Music Tech students in college on 13th and have a friend doing a gig/album launch locally on 14th, whom I have promised to support.
Anyway, I digress. My question is about what dates you decide to include on the site, especially as not everyone lives near London, or for that matter, may find it easier to make alternate dates if they are able to get to more than one location.
And for those who would like a preview, I've found a clip - I'm guessing of the rehearsal. www.britishcouncil.org.cn/arts/bahok/ Enjoy!
